Bucephalandra Question

Will the leaves of emersed bucephalandra melt if transferred to submersed condition?

Some might. Can't be more definitive than that really.

They might melt, but you won’t know until they do. The plant will be fine without them, so don’t worry if some leaves melt. What I would suggest is to only trim the emerged leaves if they melt or to make room for submerged leaves (only after the plant has been submerged for a couple of months and is growing well).
