I have 3 x 100 litre water butts in my garage, i simply feel these with hard tap water and add any dechlorinator , heat all of them to around 23c at the same time with tank heaters.
I then use an eheim pump, and pump the water via a hose into the tank.
Essentially what you want to do is start a siphon going by using the mains water pressure.
1. Cut a short piece of hose and attach the tap connector and 1 end connector to it.
2. Cut enough hose to go from the sink to the aquarium and attach 1 end connector to the hose at the sink end
3. Cut a short piece of hose and attach the stop end connector and 1 end connector to it.
To empty the aquarium connect piece 1 and 2 to the Y connector and turn the tap on (make sure the Y connector is in the sink and piece 2 is in the aquarium), the water pressure from the tap running out of the end of the Y will draw the aquarium water along the hose. After about 1 min turn off the tap and the aquarium water should now drain by itself.
To fill the aquarium turn on the tap and get the water to right temperature (it will be coming out of the 3rd Y connector end) Once the temperature is right fit the piece 3 to the Y connector, this will mean the water now goes to the aquarium, job done.
