Ola peeps

Anyone have any experience growing these emersed or as normal?

Any tips would be welcome.

Jungermannia truncata and
Climacum japonicum

Hi all, My suspicion is that they will be fine.
Climacum japonicum
Climacium is definitely really a terrestrial moss. I collected some of the very similar UK species Thamnobryum alopecurum <http://www.bbsfieldguide.org.uk/sites/default/files/pdfs/mosses/Thamnobryum_alopecurum.pdf> (or possibly the virtually identical Climacium dendroides <http://www.bbsfieldguide.org.uk/sites/default/files/pdfs/mosses/Climacium_dendroides.pdf>) from under a river bridge, a couple of weeks ago for a colleague who works on tufa (it was semi-calcified).
Jungermannia truncata
I'm not familiar with this one, but <http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/...uariums/81858-moss-jungermannia-truncata.html> has some useful bits. Looking at it I'd definitely make sure it was wet and shady if grown emersed.

cheers Darrel
