hi all, after taking the advice of Paulo of downloading firefox, i am now stuck with the problem of downloading flash  how do you do it? here are the steps i hae taken:

1) go to adobe, click download
2) firefox pops up and downloads it
3) i double click the box and it another thing pops up saing 'continue'
4) i click continue and it says close firfox, so i do...
5) it then downloads the final things or whatever it does, and then tells me it was unsucessful

any ideas?

getting really annoyin as i cant watch any videos, or lidten to some radio stations etc :(

This is how I managed to install it without administrator permissions:

1. Download the XPI archive of the Flash Player Plugin to your hard disk (http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/fl ... er-win.xpi). XPI archives are only ZIP files containing the files used by the plugins.
2. Extract the files in the archive
3. Copy the files flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll to %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Plugins\ where
%APPDATA% is the folder which holds your applications profiles and settings. (You can open this folder simply choosing "Start → Run → Type in %APPDATA% → OK")
4. Restart Firefox
5. Enjoy your flash websites!

Hope that helps ;)
