Put a large oscar in the tank, before you plant it though. The cat wont go near once its been dragged in by the fish

Our old stinky cat doesn't bother our tank because he's disowned us and lives with the the lady in her 80's and her retired daughter next door.
He's been there 2 years and gets treated like a king better than kids running around the poor thing he's got to be nearly 18 yrs.
