I would like to change the pipework on my Fluval 405 and also add lily pipes. Has anyone any suggestions or experience in this ? What kit should I use and where would I lay my hands on it. The current pipework looks like land drainage grade of agricultural grade..

Hi Binksy1973, Ias it a 405 your are changing the pipes on ? I want to make sure the tubing is the right size and matches mine. That looks like a very handy site to know about also and prices are not bad.

No im adding an eheim compact 2000+ pump for added flow, but i am sure the hoses on those 405 are of the same size, if not that site will have a size to fit im sure, you just need to measure the diameter of that hose.

Cheers Gordon.

Hi Binsky

Are you adding the eheim pump to the filter inlet to increase the flow rate through the filter ? I was just wondering about doing this as the rate through my 2026 is a little weak, but wondered if it was possible to pump it in ?

How is yours going ?

Ta

Tony
