    Hey,
Noticed that my pipes were a bit murky, how often should they be cleaned?

I clean mine when it looks like they need them. For glass pipes like lilyglass, etc I use a flexi brush I bought from AE & for the longer flexible pipes I have a pair of long rigid pipe cleaners (1m) - I can't remember where I bought them but it may have been aquatics online.

As it happens I do a quick search of AO and there are the 2 brushes on the same page (1st two up)-

I do mine when they look like they need it. Eheim do a flexible cleaning brush on a long piece of nylon - cost about £3 and works a treat
