CO2 kick start

If you provide carpet plants with "liquid carbon" to get them established, will they die back if you stop?
(PS I know exactly how long a piece of string is. )

They will melt if you take away the carbon source in my experience unless you really lower lighting intensity.

I think I've only got 1.3Wpg anyway, and can't use too much liquid carbon as I've got Vallis.
