Hey,

Am currently in singapore and basically wanted to pick up a CO2 system here, a small one for my small nano tank 25L. I want a refillable system that i can top up back home in london. What is the main thing to look out for so i know that i can fill up my canister that i bought in singapore back home in london...?

Any help would be great.

I doubt you'll get a pressurised cylinder through customs, so might either be worth checking or just buying everything else. The most important part and most expensive part in the UK is the regulator which you could probably pick up cheap out there. I would get a two gauge reg with built in needle valve, I'm not sure if it extends as far as Asia but all refillable cylinders in the UK have a 22mm diameter threaded attachment, so thats what to look for.

Something like this, which also has a solenoid built it which can be useful, although not essential.

Cheers for all the info. Am pretty sure i can get this past customs in my suit case. just dont want to buy a canister and not be able to use it back in the uk. So the regulator is the most expensive unit on a co2 system... i will check this out, again is the a certain size i should look for in terms of the regulator diameter...?
