I flumped mathes lol. Im just starting doseing now, so im starting the amounts for a 20 us galon tank, I will increase slowly as i need 3 times that amount eventualy,
go for it. why over complicate things though... you have alot of plants in your tank. if it was me I would start with the full EI dosing. How big is your tank?
NO3 - 3/16(tsp) per 20 gallons
PO4 - 1/16(tsp) per 20 gallons
trace - 1/16(tsp) per 20 gallons
times everything by 3 to get what you need for your 60 gallons.
that'll give
NO3 - 9/16(tsp) per 60 gallons
PO4 - 3/16(tsp) per 60 gallons
trace - 3/16(tsp) per 60 gallons
or this could be
NO3 - 1/2(tsp) per 60 gallons (slightly less than 9/16)
PO4 - 1/4(tsp) per 60 gallons (slightly more than 3/16)
trace - 1/4(tsp) per 60 gallons (slightly more than 3/16)
dosed to the 3x a week standard outlined in cegs article.
Have to agree with chump54 .
You have to give your plants all the nutrients they need or they will start to suffer.
When that happens you will be plagued by algae .
As chump54 implies, don't worry about a slight 'overdose'. No harm will come to your plants or livestock .
