Really like it, has a great balance to each side and the disappearing pathway is well executed.
Look forward to planting and you should definitely do a journal if you can
Cheerio,
Ady

Might do need to buy filter and co2 reg yet as my 45p filter would be too small ohh and it needs soil in yet

This is what I would call an interesting pathway. It has many small areas from both front left and right corners.

At the moment it looks perfectly constructed rocky wall like many Aquascapers are doing lately for some reason or other.

Thanks Keith tried to get a depth to it and make it curve into the distance with lots of little details hopefully I achieved it

To achieve a good depth it's far more than just a curve that narrows off.

These Pathways explain it far better, its far more than a curve with a few little details in fact not one has a main curve and each are full of very interesting areas along the pathway. The secret is to make them look natural not man made.

That is the benefit of using the Mock Tank you can move the hardscape a little at a time to get it the best you can with what materials you have.

My suggestion might sound harsh but I think you require a complete rethink of what you are doing, even go back further and starting rough sketching.

You will surprise you self what you are capable of doing.

I understand what your saying Keith but I actually like this as a base so not really going to change to much thanks all above pics are most lightly pro scapes that can spend 2 or 3 hours a day maybe even more on the tanks us that work 10-12 hours a day don't have the time or energy to do that I really wish I did though

Just hung my twinstar £8 from Amazon need a few adjustments and the light isn't heavy enough to hold the steal straight it's not twisting the light not just not as I would like so had to weight it down a little and hope it strightens them out with a lil time

It's not unstable lol ok made paranoid now
I would be very, a book may be a better choice
That rock looks heavy enough to pull the fixings out of the ceiling :nailbiting:

You are a brave man......
I’ll take a photo of what I have on mine later, although I know your issue is trying to straighten the cable not balance the light.
I would honestly prefer to level the light with the cable left as it is, and over time it may align itself naturally, then readjust the light to suit. I know what your saying about ‘stretching’ the cable but I don’t think it will work and you may end up with a disaster. The water could spill on the light, the fixings could fail on the end of the light, or it all could come down and damage the light and the tank and get the floor wet. I don’t think it’s worth the risk.

Ok all above noted Il wait and see if it leaves out its self the light is perfectly straight with out the weights on the up side I know the fixing are firm
