Daily water changes and EI

Hello,

my question is how do I dose EI if I do daily or everyother day water changes.

Currently I dose 8ml of macros 3 times a week and 4ml of micros 3 times a week.

1. If I make daily water changes do I just change the water and add 4ml macros and 2ml micros before lights on?

2. If I do every other day water changes do I change the water and add 8ml of macros and the next day 4ml of micros?

Any reason for carrying out do many water changes?

Algae is rotting due to the Excell and the water seems a bit "poluted".

I am just trying to understand the concept to be honest and might just do 2 water changes per week or so.

Dosing EI levels will mean you are dosing excess ferts. As a reply states in one of your other EI threads, unless you are running extreme levels of lighting your plants would not consume all of the available ferts.

I'd guess using a substrate with a good CEC would assist with any possible shortfalls, a kind of buffer or safety net. Doing the WC and dosing prior to co2 and lights on should also help.
