I have had my Scapers Flo filter running now for 9 months, it's a great filter!
I like the design, engineer-styling, no fancy detailing. It's white, very discreet.
Very, very silent.
Gives a nice gentle flow, direction can be adjusted.
Can take a huge amount of filter media 2 litres! That's a lot compared with it competitors.
Comes with ready to go filter media, no need to change (well I replaced the first basket to a 30pm sponge, so you can customise if you want)
It's a pressurised system, and this is where it really makes a difference. It's the only pressurised hob on the market as far as I know. No side flow, all water is forced through the media.
Easy to clean.
Cons:
It's not self priming, so after cleaning it, you have to fil it with water.
Sometimes after cleaning the motor won't start, you have to give the filter a steady knock to get it running.
