Hi All
I am thinking of autodosing Easy Carbo in my tank. I currently auto-dose EI macros and micros, and to avoid fungal issues in these stock-solutions, I put EasyCarbo in them. I was wondering if this gets utilised as a liquid carbon source for the tank, or it disintegrates in the EI solutions. I read that the active-time for easy carbo is typically half a day or so in the tank. After that it doesnt act as a liquid carbon source. Hence on needs to dose it more frequently (daily, say?).
What happens if I use DI water to dilute EasyCarbo and dose it separately, or simply increase the amount of EC in my EI solutions? Will this be a good source, particularly since the stocks last for 2 months or so??
Any inputs are more than welcome!
thanks as always
