Drop checker will no turn green.

As above i can not get it to change and im turning the tank over nearly 12 times.Ive got the co2 in line going through a atomiser, but before that ive got a bubble checker so i can see wots going in.I have put the drop checker in front of the outlet and cranked it up, still no change but then i end up gasing the fish so have to turn it down.The solution is the ready mixed one from aqua essentials and ive changed it every time i do a water change could this be faulty??? :? :?

Im dosig EI for ferts and plant growth is good just got a bit of hair algae (keeping it in check though o_O )

If you have had your fish gasping for air and had to turn it down / no change in colour you have a faulty solution. Some body else on the forum had faulty solution from A.E.

I assume your are using a reagent with your 4dkh solution like the attached

As for your question is up to you - ready mixed is easier but it might be dearer than buying mix your own.

http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/index.p ... ts_id=1991 this @ 1.99 using 2ml per dc solution change should last 30 weeks where 100 of 4dkh http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/index.p ... ts_id=3979 + http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/index.p ... cts_id=268 = 12.48 using 2 ml again with last 50 weeks so compairing the two - two of the ready mixed should last longer and is significantly cheaper.

If you bought more 4dkh ie 500ml the cost will reduce.
