Ok, starting my Fluval Edge scape here.

Orange Fluval Edge tank with upgraded LED unit.
Aquatic soil with Gui Ying rock (looks like mini landscape to me)

Will be for cherry red shrimp and some snails.

First attempt at hardscape below, thoughts? Will be black gravel with a white gravel "stream".

Plants will be mini hairgrass, riccia, and other iwagumi style plants.

Not too fond on the far left rock if im honest, i would move it around a bit to remove that piece that sticks out:) Just imo of course. Take a look at this: http://www.thegreenmachineonline.com/ar ... troduction You can also maybe consider the golden ratio into your scape, good luck!

+1 to what Harry said. Just have the pointiest tip out of the substrate!

What's your plant list going to be like ?
Are you going low tech?

What's the stock light on the Edge ?

Good start :D

I had a play around with the left hand rock placement but decided to keep it as is, but with more substrate behind it and the intention to cover most of that structure with a riccia carpet.

Picture below - obviously not 100% complete yet.

Remaining tasks:

1) Filter off the crud, and fetch out all the debris from the top
2) Tidy up the substrate lines at the front (probably going to just put white gravel down the front few mm
3) Tidy up some of the planting since the filter flow has already moved a bit of gravel

Thoughts?
