im just curious if anybody uses a rest day , and if so why ?
im going to be using the EI starter kit from aquarium plant food , i have mixed it all up according to the accomanying literature and will start off using the regime/dosages suggested .
it says monday micro , tuesday macro , wednesday , micro , thursday macro , friday micro , saturday rest day no dosing , sunday waterchange and macro dosing .
this got me wondering why the rest day / why not just dose for 6 then w/c sunday and start again monday ? best guess i could come up with is that it is so when you have done the w/c you dose so that there is something there for the plants still after the w/c instead of having none . am i on the right lines with my thinking , or am i just peeing in the wind ?
