Energy Saving Lamp

I've just bought a 26w solar duo boy http://www.aquatic-nature.be/2eng_verlichting1.html . The lamp is an energy saving lamp and it says on the box that 26w is the equivilent to 100w standard light bulb. The lumen rating is 1505. So, for my 20 litre tank do i have 26 watts of light or 100 watts? Thanks

Hi,
Lumens are meaningless and has no relation either to watts or to plants. Do a search on the forum using the parameter "Lumen" for more info. The answer to your question is that no one has any idea what you've got unless a measurement can be taken directly with a quantum meter.
