Filter media??

Hi

I just bought a 2078 eheim which will come without media now I have to buy some but don't know which one which brand and type do You use any advice ??

Eheim Efisubstrate Pro is good, as is Sera Siporax. Basically, anything that is based on sintered glass should do you well Bare in mind though that sintered glass based media will need replacing from time to time (possibly every year or so) as it will eventually clog.

use lava rock or alfagrog, just as good as SIPORAX and efisubstrat and nowhere near as expensive:

I quite like the ADA bio rio myself but could not get hold of it, it's basically lava rock, but in smaller pieces, so even Amano had the right ideas.

I like the Eheim and Siporax, but I've used alfagrog as well and it is good stuff, and much cheaper.
