Fluval 205 & Hydor External Heater

Hi,
I've just got a second hand Fluval 205 external. It will arrive next week. Does anyone know if the Hydor ETH 200 External Thermal Heater will fit? I know the Hydor 200 is for inlet Hose 12mm but can't find any info on the hose size of the 205.

Can you help??

I'd say no. Basically, the Fluval ribbed hose is just plain anoying! If you look through this part of the forum you will find this has been asked a few times I ran a Fluval 204 (basically the same filter) with silicone hose instead of the horrid ribbed stuff. When swapping to silicone hose you have to use 16/22mm (and therefore an ETH300).

Have a quick search in this sub-forum and I'm sure you'll find more info
