Fluval G3 - Purigen

Hi All,

ive just placed a bag of Purigen into the chemical compartment of my G3 and have noticed a sudden loss of flow.

has anyone else experienced this and managed to sort it?

does anyone else use purigen with there G series fluval and how are you adding it?

Did you ever get any answers about this?

I don't have any problems at the moment BUT then again my G3 and a tub of purigen are yet to be united!
I planned to put it in the 'chemical filtration' cartridge but it seems George Farmer makes a suggestion about using it in the bio media baskets

One thing I think could be causing this is the purigen is inside a bag instead of directly in the cartridge? (I know that sounds a stupid suggestion!)
