Request to the UKAPS hive mind: what is Frodo stone? I'm guessing it's some form of carboniferous limestone, but I couldn't find anything on the internet to confirm or rebut that hypothesis.

No idea myself either, but would be really nice to know what a lot of the common rocks actually are so we can hunt them down in parts of the planet with not much quality hard scape in the aquarium world.
If I knew what hakkai stones were to find them without paying ££££££ for example. There’s a good thread in this!

I picked up this small collection today from cheddar gorge (which is carboniferous limestone) and it made me wonder, seeing as I have a pile of Frodo stone.
Hi, did you find out for sure what type of rock this is? Is it the same as Frodo Stone?
