hi, my brother has a juwel lido 120 (litres) and he is wondering whether he can keep any more fish in it. he currently has a breeding pair of kribs, 5 tiger barbs, 7 cherry barbs, 10 silvertip tetras and 4 glowlight tetras. he is running the filter that it came with.

is there room for any more fish? he would like to try an oddball, but he isn't really sure which one to try. possibly a type of catfish such as banjo or whiptail? what oddball would you recommend? (if the tank isn't full of course)

cheers :D

as a rough guide I use Aqadvisor, every tank is different though.

I entered all the details for the tank and it came back with the following results,

http://www.aqadvisor.com/AqAdvisor.php? ... ode=simple

basically it thinks the tank is underfiltered for the stock at 90% filteration and is 98% stocked but would require a 35% weekly WC.

As long as he is on the ball with his maintainance he should be fine but I'd advise against any more fish!
