Giesemann power chrome T5 Tubes?

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had experience with the Giesemann T5 Tubes? I am looking at replacing my X2 24W Arcadia tubes as I am not sure of the light that they give off. I want a much whiter more daylight light which is supposed to be better for plant growth.

I currently have X1 Arcadia plant pro 24W and X1 Original tropical 24W.

I have heard that the Giesemann T5 Tubes are much more powerful than all other T5 tubes as they have '5 Core' instead of the regular 2.

Advice or experience anyone?

Hi,
Having much whiter light has nothing to do with better plant growth. Only get whiter light if it pleases you to look at a tank lit by whiter light. There are no other relevant advantages in terms of plant growth. Whatever tubes you have will do just as good a job, so only change them if you don't like them, otherwise, save your money.
