Going back to Pollen type diffusers

Used an external CO2 reactor (Sera 500 & 1000) on the exit of my largish Eheim external filter on my 100 litre fully planted tank for past 18m or so quite successfully.

Came to clean it out yesterday and started to think one day it will let me down with either the impellers sticking (forcing me to take it apart), CO2 nipple breaking off or a general leak where the pipes attach to the the unit.

I know it does a good job when its working but I really don't want any leaks - seriously considering going back to a simple pollen style filter in the tank and simply changing it say every month. Whenever I've cleaned them in the past they never seem to be the same. Also, tested the outflow of the filter and I'm getting 450 Ltrs/hour so whilst I'm using a largish Eheim external, the reactor really is slowing it down.

Starting to think the simple approach maybe the better approach.
