Pretty interesting how this batch of water wisteria is starting to carpet the substrate instead of just heading for the surface or blanketing the front where the light is coming from.
This was actually meant to be a shrimp tank that's been put on hold pending a move. The Litorella and Eleocharis were left unplanted for pretty long and have only started to grow so just ignore them.
I guess it'll be nice for the shrimps and snails if it turns a carpet since they'll have lots of hiding places but it won't be dense enough to obstruct viewing.
Who knows? It might even be nice with bits of Eleocharis and Litorellas sticking out.
Substrate is capped garden compost by the way. Not very deep in this tank. Maybe just half an inch of the compost.
