Recently put 20 Rummy Nose Tetras in aquarium been fine until today got home from work to see this fella out on his own with this “white band “ around back end
Any ideas advice

A few months ago I bought 20 rummy nose tetras. In the first day in quarantine, one of them displayed that same white band as your fish. I tried medicating them as best as I could, but long story short, in 10 days they all died in the quarantine, almost all of them with a white mark in some part of the body.

I quarantined the quarantine for a couple of months and then tried again with a smaller rummy nose batch and this time they all made it to the main tank.
