i have a hagen glo twin 54w i want to add to my tank, but the 54w bulbs are to long to fit under the hood, so my question is can i use 39w bulbs in the hagen glo twin 54w? or will it blow the bulbs?

i tried seaching but cant find any information on it,

No that will be just fine, the ballast, is rated for 54W, it won't PUSH 54W into the tube it means the tube can DRAW 54W.
