I am looking to set up a 28 gallon tank. I have a heater which is suitable for twice this size. Would it be ok to use this? Presumably it will only "work" when it needs to....
Ive got a 50w in a 35l tank and its ok, but if it were to stick in on position, it will heat tank much quicker. So imo its ok for a spare and your better having a smaller one to give you more safety margin in the event of a failure
