Hello. I hope you don't mind me joining a UK forum, but Australia is part of the commonwealth and that's got to count for something.

I've been a spectator of this hobby for a long time and finally have the chance to make my own tank and I'm so excited.
 
Hi and welcome, don't let the name fool you, this is a truly international community.
Maybe we should rename it the...International Aquatic Plant Society.
