Hi all.
30+ years fishkeeper here from general community to discus and Malawi cichlids.
Over the years I've dabbled with plants but never really had any great success as being perfectly honest I'd just push them into whatever substrate I had and hope for the best, the only plants I had any kind of success with was vallis or cabomba and that just grew wild and all over the place.
Around February I saw a fluvel flex on offer so decided to get it, got it home looked at it and thought what am I'm going to do with this 🤣 was a total impulse buy but just wanted to get back into keeping fish and that's all I have room for atm.
Anyway cut a long story short I decided to have a go at planting it out into my own little scape and its coming on really nice.
Can't wait to have a look around the forum and all the different styles and scapes.
