Hullo, I go by Ven on most websites but my name is Shawn. I wouldn't call myself a newbie to the world of aquascaping, but I don't call myself a pro.
I have only been into it since last August, but I have learned so so so much from it, especially from a guy named DutchMutch which he goes by here. I joined his Discord from around that time and has learned so much from him, which I'm super grateful for.

I am in the process of setting a high tech 40gB tank very soon, and also have an emmersed setup outdoors which has the following plants;

• Monte Carlo
• Dwarf hairgrass
• Creeping Jenny
• Ludwigia repens
• Ludwigia palustris
• Ludwigia arcuata
• Ludwigia ovalis
• Ammannia gracilis
• Rotala rotundifolia pink
• Rotala sp. fujan
• Rotala indica
• Eleocharis viviparis
• Hydrocotyle tripartita
• Rorippa aquatica
• Hygrophilia siamensis
• Alternanthera reineckii
• Pearlweed
• Dwarf Sagittaria

It is going to be a high tech "dutch inspired styled" tank, but it will not follow the traditional dutch style since it is not my type sorry ); I will be using some of the plants from my list for this style and I am very excited too start on it soon.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hope to learn more.
