Hi all,
I am back aquascaping, after convincing my wife to get me an aquarium for Christmas (Fluval Flex 57l, after researching, George Farmer and The Geordie Scaper both recommend them as a good starter kit).
My first aquascape in 2013 (my wife surprised me with a Fluval Edge 23l) ended with Algue (most likely caused by newbie mistakes, in particular upgrading the lighting, planting to lightly and ultimately causing an imbalance). This and pressure to get rid of it, sadly meant I let it go. Since then my children (all 3 of them) have a goldfish tank each, so I do the maintenance on those once a week, which has revived my interest!
I have been researching for the last few months and I am now planning on setting up a journal.
