Hi all,

Coming back to the hobby after a long time out.

I used to keep Malawi Cichlids and loved it years ago, but arrival of kids and a house move put it to an end. I have recently setup an Interpet River Reef 48 which i had in the loft and got inspired byt this site and a few people on Facebook to make it a planted scaped nano.

Really looking forward to watching it develop and eventually getting some fish and shrimps in there (after what seems an eternity cycling it!!)

Anyway this is and amazing forum with great members and resources.

Steve

Pics are of how I had the tank before finding this site and the FB group and then a little journey of my scaping!

I just found a couple of pictures from my Cichlid tank I had 10 years ago. I didn't the style of scape I had done at the time had a proper name. I really miss having a big tank :(

We used to have a huge aquarium in the visitor centre of HMP Holloway prison (I was an officer there). The tank has breeding mbuna and the biggest Frontosa I've ever seen.
