Hi folks,
I've kept fish for 20+ years but as they've always been barbs and catfish plants didn't last long - except for java fern, moss, Cardamine and a few micro anubias which I only found when I changed the hardscape recently (pics/journal to follow if I get my act together). Last of the fish died. so time to get some plants growing.
I found this site in March and after reading for a while I saved myself a lot of grief as I don't use CO2 and if it wasn't for Clive's posts (amongst others) I would have bought mega-wattage lighting.
Thanks to all of you who share your knowledge, esp those who take the time to link to previous posts and other info. Hopefully I can add a bit of info occasionally.
I've been a bit cheeky as I joined today to take advantage of the Buces offer, but made a small site donation to salve my conscience.
