Hi to all!
I live in Russia. Dothe aquarium since 2008.
In 2014 and 2015 participated in IAPLC. IAPLC2014 (748), IAPLC2015 (824).
I think need to train more and work at it, to gain experience and knowledge.
 
Welcome to Ukaps. To get into the top 100 at IAPLC you need to come up with some wicked new idea which is perfectly done in all aspects, I'm not saying that your tanks aren't (they look very good to me), but it became more and more difficult to please judges who are spoiled with so much eye candy.
Personally I make a tank for myself and not for a competition (yet ;)).

Yes it is possible. This year I do not participate.
Firstly you need a decent budget to restart (soils, decorations, change light), and in Russia now the finances are difficult.
Secondly - it requires a lot of time and effort.
So this year break, rethink.
