Hospitality/catering Co2 cylinder

Hi everyone,

Thinking of getting a pressurised co2 system setup and seen a lot of info on fire extinguishers as co2 source. Having come from hospitality background I have access to co2 cylinders used for carbonating drinks and wondering whether these would work with the standard regulators (from co2 art and others alike)

Seen on the BOC website they supply a 3.15kg cylinder which might be worth trying to get my hands on if it will work

CO2 is CO2 if the fittings fit I cant see it being an issue

I use a CO2 Art regulator and gas from a pub supplier. Pretty sure it’s a standard thread. You have to select your region when buying the reg.

UK CO2 fittings should be standard. USA fittings are different. I use Cellagas 44 Chapel Road, Rotherwas Industrial Estate Hereford. When using Pub cylinders make sure you get straight CO2 and not a CO2/Nitrogen blend.
