how to clean in line atomiser

hi and ,i have just got a up inline atomiser and wondered what is the best way to clean it and how often ?many thanks roy.

I clean mine weekly, soak in a 1/10 thin bleach/water solution for 30 mins then soak in a strong dechlorinated water solution for an hour.

I haven't actually cleaned mine in the 2 years that it's been running
. Diffusion is still good, very tiny bubbles like when new.

I think it should be ok not to clean it for a longer period....no light, no algae also if the filter does it's job it would have taken out dirt and such (mostly)

Two years!! The longest I have even had one working, is about 6 months LOL...
I guess it depend on use, ie flow rates, tank volume etc..
However there is no doubt that some work better than others as you can tell by the hundreds & hundreds of post on this forum!

I know the intank atomisers are temperamental little---.but I must admit that they do create small bubbles
