Hey everyone,

I'm getting some more K2SO4 for my ferts mix. Is this Sulphate of Potash from eBay the exact same thing? The chemical name is the same.

Yes, in terms of K2SO4. But there are different grades of purity for chemicals and the prices grow up fast. Salts intended for agriculture have some impurities but realistically with the amount dosed and the frequent water changes this is not a problem (if the impurities dissolve in the first place).

From time to time you may face agricultural fertilizers with anticaking additives. Unlikely in case of K2SO4 because this salt does not form hydrate(s).
Thanks guys, I'll give it a go.

Meanwhile, I can give some to my cherry tree. 🍒
