It looks like coal dust

G'Day chaps,
Can you please name an Algae on one of my Microsorium pteropus ( Java Fern ) It's only on one plant and looks just like a sprinkling of Coal dust.

I am using Standard Ei dosing, Macro and Micro solution as supplied by Aquariumplantfood.co.uk.
Strange or what, Just the one plant !!!

Someone also had it on a Java Fern...a kinda globular algae....black little balls was the description.
Cant remember where i say the post though.
May have been on another site.

this is how they propagate, by growing leaves on existing leaves, which then detach from the main leaf.

The black/brown growing shoot spots are spaced apart quite evenly on the leaf.
These will rub off....i bet.
