Just a warning to anyone else using or intending to use these ZRDR or similar lily pipe clamps.
Slight tension in my hose caused the clamp to slip to the side slightly causing a chip in the glass.
Perhaps a combination of cheaper tank (All Pond Solutions) and user inexperience but the edges are sharp and the surface area of these metal clamps is small so something to be wary of!
Think I may invest in some decent acrylic clamps.
