I am looking for a South American species of plant that will grow out of the tank & survive the relatively dry air?
Obvious choice being the Echinodorus species but, I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas?
My tank is actually designed to display such a plant as the light is suspended 600mm above the water & the planting area for the plant is 200mm below the surface.
I have been looking at Echinodorus palaefolius but I am not sure I like the long stems.
