Hi Guys, I have some Ludwigia inclinata var verticllata Cuba growing really well in my aquarium and want to add to it. I have no problem trimming the stems to the required length and replanting but I've read that the rooted part turns black and eventually rots. How can I propergate this plant, or is it a case of buying more or growing it emersed? Any help would be great, thanks

Hi,
That only happens under conditions of marginal to poor CO2. Just do it and see what happens. I don't have any trouble propagating this plant in the normal stem fashion.

Cheers,

Ok, thank you. I was hoping it would be the easier option.
