I am thinking of getting these for my 180l community aquarium. Has anyone had any experience with them and can tell me first hand what they are like. I am doing some research but I prefer to talk to someone who has actually kept a fish rather than something written online

I have limited experiance with this species, I have kept them in the past and found them quite delicate, whether that is down to breeding or not I am not 100% certain.
They are not bright red all the time, usually at certain times of day, early in the morning, soon after lights on, but not constant. Most bows have 'colour moods' to varying degrees.
I would certainly give them a try if you do not have larger boisterous fish in your tank.
