Hoping someone here could help ID these fish? I have (definitely) some mollies and guppies but I'm not sure if these ones below are mollies or platies. The top two have very similar body shapes - long and sleek. They are about the same dimensions. Thanks in advance :)

It used to be very easy long time ago (decades) Moly's were black anything else was a platy or an orange swordtail. Tha's what i remeber from the old days, there were only black moly's and swordtails in the LFS. Not all sp. were documented and nterbreeding and freaking around with colors and other gen enhancers/changers and who knows what wans't yet popular.

Nowadays it is very hard to say sometimes what is what.. Other then a black moly is just still a black moly.. And now we also have platy, wagtail, long fin. all kinds of colors, dalmatian rainbow name it, you ask we turn. :)

These ar i think the oficial wild types, if all domestics are listed i do not know.

I'd go with that as well but the bottom one makes it harder to say its 100% platy. Top two are definitely mollies.
