After some nano style aquarium, I've decided to go a little bigger and bought an Juwel RIO180. First this tank was an Asian biotope tank, but after a couple of months I've decided to go back to an fully planted tank in Dutch style. But not whit the traditional rules from the NBAT, but like nicpapa style.
After I fully planted the tank it was running like a charm, but suddenly there was an black spot in the substrate, first I Syphon the substrate away on this spot, but the black spot kept coming back. So yesterday I had decided to completely change the substrate in my aquarium. Whit this result, I'm quite happy so far, the plants recovering quickly, but still there is a long way to go.
