Looks like I may have a name for my scape...
Hill of the Impaler
Have added some toothpicks to try and hold down the floating clumps of HC. Its not foolproof as you can see.
Have also removed the Jap hairgrass as it wasn't carpeting well and replaced with Riccia. I left the Riccia in a container for too long before planting so it's not looking too good, but it is pearling a bit so I'm hoping it'll bounce back.
I have also added some coral chips to my filter in an attempt to buffer the pH. It seems to be working, pH is now around 6 to 6.5 consistently. Bumped up my CO2 slightly and the HC has started to pearl slightly!
