My first planted tank

Hi,

This is my 1st attempt at a planted tank, only got into the hobby about 6 months ago, set up a small 70l tank with plastic plants but so wanted to upgrade to a larger tank, I spotted a 4ft tank on ebay for a bargain price which I purchased,I built a stand and hood for it

I have cat litter as substrate, and light is 2 x 30w T8 and just a few days ago I planted 25 stem plants which I also got from ebay, not sure what to do from here regarding ferts, liquid or root tabs? Any advice appreciated

i quite like it though for a tank that size you could go alot more dense with the planting

yeah thats what i was thinking, hoping the new plants will fill out in a few weeks though, may add more though
