Was really hesitant to post in this forum, since everyone here has stunning tanks. But here is my first planted tank in somewhat decent shape. I do not pretend my tank to be any kind of "aquascape", I'm just trying to learn
to grow plants.
Specs:
Tank size: 120x50x50;
Lights: 4x54w HO T5, photo period: 10 hrs. per day;
CO2: cheap pressurised CO2 system with ceramic diffuser;
Substrate: JBL Manado;
Filter: JBL crystalprofi greenline 1501;
Tank was started in early February of 2016;
Fertiliser regime: K, P, N, Fe three times a week (brand VIMI Solo), and micro elements (VIMI Micro) two times a week;
Maintenance: 40% water change twice a month, plant trimming 2-4 times a month, glass cleaning once a month.
Livestock: neon tetras, harlequin rasboras, otocinclus catfish, siamese algae eaters, amano and red cherry shrimp.
