My first tank super low tech

4 May 2020
Plants are pretty green and grow well to say its gravel and nothing except the odd bit off liquid fertiliser (no routine)

Its about a year old, plants have been removed and added in that time but its been like it is for a few months.

Tried a few carpets but that was maybe too optimistic and the Java moss need taming.

What do you guys think as a first attempt? I dived in without research and things like active substrate never occurred to me, even though I knew I wanted plants. (and no one gets bow fronts haha)

Basically set it up from my mums old teachings but since discovered she was wrong about a lot.

Its also really overstocked with guppies as they survived a lot better than the shop had me believe but I don't know what to do with them!
